The beaches in Lagos are some of the most beautiful in the Algarve including Praia de Dona Ana which is only a 25 minute walk from the centre of the town, Praia de Camilo and Meia Praia which stretches 4 kilometres east of Lagos.Once a small fishing village, Lagos is now an important town with an attractive new marina. There are numerous restaurants, offering a wide variety of menus from traditional Portuguese, to the exotic Far East. There are many bars and discotheques to keep one entertained in the evening.
