Hammamet

Hammamet is a holiday resort that mixes traditional living with modern sophistication. A 15th century fortress provides a stunning backdrop to this resort, inside the fortress there's a fantastic medina which is a maze of narrow streets with shops, where those who love to barter can try out their skills. There is also a recently opened museum on the history of Hammamet which is a must see. But it is outside the old walled town where all the real action takes place, with perfect sandy beaches stretching for miles and restaurants lining the pavements. If its dancing you want then head down to Havana Club. Alternatively, for sheer chic and sophistication don't miss Tattoo - Hammamet's newest and funkiest place to be seen. Getting around Hammamet is easy as taxis are both plentiful and reasonably priced or use the local tourist train.

Port El Kantaoui

Port El Kantaoui is built around a beautiful marina and flanked by two long stretches of white sandy beaches. A firm favourite with holidaymakers from Ireland. It is a modern purpose built resort with its own distinctive charm. Port El Kantaoui boasts excellent French, Italian and specialty fish restaurants which are dotted around the Marina. Nightlife in Port El Kantaoui is centred around the marina area or in the hotels bars and clubs themselves. For those who want to continue into the small hours we recommend taking a short trip to the nearby town of Sousse which is located just a short journey outside of Port el Kantaoui and easily reached by taxi.
