This resort is modern and purpose built. The pleasant promenade is lined with palm trees and has four soft sandy beaches, two small and large coves with a stone breakwater and separated by a headland. It also has an 18 hole Golf course which is ideal for holiday golf. Not for those seeking a hectic nightlife although there is a wide choice of restaurants, bars, pizzerias and activities in the resort centre.
Matagorda is an extension of Puerto del Carmen offering a quieter alternative. Its wonderful wide promenade is ideal for clients who enjoy walking along the sea front. You will find an excellent shopping centre that includes Chinese, Greek and Indian restaurants, Irish bars, cocktail bar and supermarket together with souvenir shops. Its fine sandy beach is also ideal for windsurfing. A good choice for those seeking restful surroundings with the added bonus of the lively resort of Puerto del Carmen being just 6 kilometres away.
Playa Blanca is situated on the southern tip of the island of Lanzarote. It still retains the atmosphere of a small fishing village although now it is a flourishing but tranquil resort. The Playa Blanca area has an excellent selection of white sandy beaches including the nearby magnificent Papagayo Beaches. The 9 kilometre promenade is bordered by a selection of restaurants and bars including the trendy Rubicon Marina in the harbour area . A wonderful area offering all the necessary ingredients for a relaxing and memorable holiday.
Puerto Calero is a small upmarket area with a beautiful marina berthing yachts & catamarans. Located 10 minutes drive from Puerto del Carmen & 15 minutes drive from Playa Blanca. There are trendy bars and restaurants and it is perfect for a pleasant walk along the seafront. There is no beach but clients have a choice of accessible beaches in nearby resorts.
The most popular and well-known resort on the island with a wide sandy 6 kilometre long beach. An attractive promenade lined with restaurants, bars and shops runs the length of Puerto del Carmen. There is a distinct difference between the new town and the old town. The old town has quaint streets with an active harbour. It also boasts a superb open air shopping centre. The new town has lively bars and nightclubs. Enjoy a round of golf on the 18 hole golf course which is ideal for holiday golf.
