Medhufushi Island is a quiet and serene authentic resort located in Meemu Atoll, 40 minutes transfer from Male by seaplane and a further 5 minutes by dhoni. It is an idyllic barefoot-luxury island resort offering a truly tropical experience with excellent accommodation and facilities, friendly service and a relaxing atmosphere.

Accommodation
A total of 112 villas to chose from, 14 semi detached beach villas, 44 detached beach villas, 44 water villas, 8 beach villa suites and 2 honeymoon suites all featuring semi open bathrooms and wooden sundecks with direct beach access. All villas are equipped with specially designed teak furniture, ceiling fan, air-conditioning, mini-bar, tea / coffee making facilities, telephone, flat screen TV, in room safe, DVD player and hairdryer.

All Inclusive
Guests on the optional All Inclusive will have lunch served at the main restaurant, afternoon tea / coffee and snacks served at the a la carte restaurant and dinner served at the main restaurant. Bottled water and drinks served by the glass including soft drinks, beer, house wine and pouring spirits served between 10am and midnight (after midnight all drinks will be charged at the normal price). 2 excursions - Island Hopping and Sunset Fishing per person per stay.

Facilities
The Malafaiy main restaurant situated beside the pool and a la carte Al Frecso Restaurant, gourmet menus are available for those celebrating special occasions, these can either be served on the beach or at the sunset pavillion, the Vilu Bar is built over the lagoon, with spectacular view of the beach and the Indian Ocean. Other facilities include a Spa offering traditional treatments, fully equipped gym, table tennis, volleyball, board games available at the Vilu Bar, evening entertainment and a wide selection of half and full day excursions. Water-sports include catamaran sailing, windsurfing, surfing, canoeing, diving and snorkeling and Werner Lau Dive centre with courses and instruction available.
