DAY 1 IRELAND - HANOI
Departure from Ireland with connecting overnight flights to Hanoi.

DAY 2 HANOI
On arrival in Hanoi you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel for overnight. (BB)

DAY 3 HANOI
Today, you will visit Ba Dinh Square where silent sentries guard the mausoleum where Ho Chi Minh lies in state (closed every Friday & Monday & October/ November). See the simple cottage where Uncle Ho lived and worked and visit the nearby museum, the next stop is the Temple of Literature. Later in the afternoon, explore Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, followed by a cycle tour through the old quarter of Hanoi and if time permits, stroll around the old French quarter, before attending a traditional water puppetry show. Overnight at hotel B&B.

DAY 4 HALONG BAY
Travel to the World Heritage listed area of Halong Bay where you will board the exquisite overnight boat. This traditional-style boat is lavishly furnished with private cabins, sun deck and a dining room. You will carry sea kayaks on board so you can take to the sea amid the towering karst peaks and swim in secluded days. Overnight on board.. Overnight on board. (BB L D). Note: The cruise itinerary is subject to change upon the weather’s condition. - Return transfers Hanoi – Halong – Hanoi by the cruise’s shuttle bus with pick up and drop off at your hotel in town

DAY 5 HALONG BAY - HANOI - HUE
Start the day with an early morning exercise on the sundeck or watch sunrise from the sundeck with a warming coffee. After a late breakfast, disembark at approximately 11:00 am for your return transfer to Hanoi arriving approximately 3pm. Transfer directly to the airport for your flight to Hue via VN1547 HAN-HUI 1640/1730 (subject to change). Overnight at hotel B&B. 

DAY 6 HOI AN
Today you will cruise along the Perfume River to visit the Heavenly Lady Pagoda, the Old Imperial City - modelled after the Forbidden City in Peking and one of the tombs of Nguyen Emperior Minh Mang or Tu Duc. Continue south by road to Hoi An, the scenery en route is beautiful as you travel the coastline of the South China Sea via the spectacular Hai Van Pass. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An. (BB)

DAY 7 HOI AN
Hoi An is a charming small town that can be easily explored on foot. More than any other place in Vietnam, it retains the feeling of centuries past and is a favourite with all travellers for its beautiful Chinese architecture, lively markets and picturesque seafront. Later in the afternoon, take a biking tour to the authentic Tra Que Village to experience a day with local farmer and enjoy the farm-to-table dinner at a local house family.  Overnight at hotel B&B.. DAY 8 HO CHI MINH CITY
Morning free at leisure. Check out hotel at noon and transfer to the airport for flight to Saigon via VN123 DAD-SGN 1240/1425 (subject to change). On arrival, meet and transfer to your hotel for check in. B&B

This evening, you’ll join in a group tour Saigon After Dark by Vespa Adventure (18:00 – 22:00 pm). Immerse yourself into the cosmopolitan nightlife of this busy city by night. Your expert driver will then take you through the busy streets of Saigon showcasing some of the famous highlights in this bustling city. Feel like a local as we feast on authentic, fresh seafood dishes, eating streetside and then enjoy the local favourite that is the delicious Banh Xeo, a traditional Vietnamese savoury pancake. We then ride off into the night again to experience live music at two very different venues. Firstly, the laid back atmosphere of quieter, softly lit coffee shop before heading to a lively rock bar where a new generation of Vietnamese flaunt their style. Bring a healthy appetite and a sense of adventure as our guides show you the city by night.
Note: Saigon After Dark is based on join-in-group tour.
 
DAY 9 HO CHI MINH CITY

Depart Saigon for a scenic morning drive through the Mekong Delta. At My Tho take a boat along Tien River to an orchard garden before floating on a sampan through the narrow, tree-lined canals of the Mekong Delta. Visit Vinh Trang pogoda before returning to Saigon. Overnight at hotel B&B.

DAY 10 HO CHI MINH CITY
This morning transfer to Bach Dang Pier and depart to Cu Chi Tunnels by speedboat, 1hr 15 min cruising along the river learning about the Vietnamese lifestyle of local citizens living along the river banks. On arrival to Cu Chi, you will visit  and discover the real life underground of Cu Chi Tunnels & explore the tunnel site, which includes weapon and booby trap exhibitions, navigating authentic Viet Cong tunnel. Options after the tunnels to shoot a real gun at the firing range (exclusive for bullets payable locally). Note: Cu Chi Tunnels by Speedboat tour is based on join-in-group.

DAY 11 HO CHI MINH CITY - IRELAND
Free at leisure until check out (before 12:00 noon). You will be transferred to the airport for onward / return flights or by road on to Phan Thiet for a beach extension. End of Tour.
