Obzor is another seaside jewel that Bulgaria seems to possess in spades. It's a small town with a very big beach (8km). The sand is soft and golden while the water is shallow and warm, making it perfect for families. The setting is spectacular, with the town nestled between the Black Sea and the Planina mountains. The promenade is well populated with bars and restaurants for when lunch or dinner calls you away from the beach. Beyond the town, there are plenty of day trips to avail of, most notably to the exquisite UNESCO heritage town of Nessebar.
