While the government travel advice remains as avoid non-essential travel and constantly evolving quarantine restrictions, we are working with all our customers to help them rebook their holidays where possible.

The safety and wellbeing of our customers is our top priority.


I am due to travel from July onwards

A lot of flights are operating albeit on a reduced frequency for July and beyond. If you are due to travel in July we will contact you and discuss all options with you. We will be contacting people in order of travel date, so bear with us we will get to you.

We are prioritising all rebooking’s based on travel date.

I am due to pay the balance of my holiday, but I’m concerned
We will do our very best to work with you in this regard. On some selected destinations we may be able to delay the balance due date. Please contact our sales team regarding your booking.

I want to change my holiday, what do I do?
Depending on when and where you are travelling to, we will assist you where we can but please bear in mind our focus is on July holidays at the moment.

You are welcome to contact our office during our normal office hours of 9.00am – 5.00pm Mon-Fri. You may also email info@sunway.ie and one of our team will get back to you.

I’m still worried, can I cancel my booking?
If your flight is still operating and you choose to cancel your holiday, then this would be subject to our cancellation policy as per our booking conditions.

I want to book a new holiday but I am concerned I will lose my money?

  • You can book your holiday in complete confidence with Sunway
  • We are an Irish Family owned and operated holiday company, taking Irish holidaymakers on holiday for more than 53 years
  • Sunway Travel is licensed and bonded with the commission for aviation (TA 0731 and TO 101) Do not take chances with unlicensed travel companies

I hope the above information has helped answer some of the queries you may have. Finally, I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the kind words of support you’ve shared with me over the past few weeks. These are really tough times for Sunway and the Travel Industry of Ireland, but we look forward to planes flying soon so we can take you on holidays.

For the night owls a plethora of bars and nightclubs in the larger resorts ensure you can party into the wee hours should you wish to.

Both Spanish cuisine and wines are highly regarded the world over with the tapas style of eating ever growing in popularity. Getting around the Costa Del Sol is easy thanks to the motorways linking the airport with the major holiday sports. Public transport links are also very good with train, bus and taxi options. Hundreds of beaches adorn the Costa Del Sol from quiet secluded coves to bustling long stretches of wide sands with water sports a-plenty to trendy fashionable beach clubs.

The Costa Del Sol is within easy reach of a wide range of historic tourist attractions from the impressive Ronda to the spectacular cities of Malaga and Seville to quaint traditional white washed villages.
