Located 7 kilometres west of Malaga, Torremolinos was the first Costa Del Sol resort to be developed. Noted for its clean sandy beaches, wide choice of restaurants, bars, activities and facilities for both families and party go’ers. Several public gardens have recently been opened in Torremolinos adding a welcome greener feel to the resort. It also makes for a great base with plenty of excursion opportunities including Malaga, Marbella and Ronda to name just a few places.

Calle San Miguel, a smartly paved pedestrianized street, is the heart of the town. Here you will find lots of shops and boutiques and is always a busy spot. El Bajondillo is the old fishing district and now home to many good restaurants and souvenir shops. It is also where you will find the popular El Bajondillo beach. Other beaches in Torremolinos include Playamar and Los Alamos with the beach areas of La Carihuela and Montemar lying beyond the Castillo de Santa Clara.
