Es Cana

Ibiza

Es Cana is a quiet, rustic town on the south shore of the island of Ibiza and boasts sandy white shores, and a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea. It’s an unspoilt area surrounded by rocky red cliffs and lush hills covered in pine trees, and the ideal spot if you want to get away from it all.

There’s no shortage of things to do in Es Cana, and it’s got everything you could possibly want from a laid-back holiday. There is a big sandy beach in the heart of town, complete with pretty palm trees and crystal-clear waters. A quaint little harbour at the beach has stunning views and a great range of beach bars and restaurants. Parasailing, scuba diving, windsurfing, Stand Up Paddle (SUP) tours and all the fun boat rides and ferry trips are available at this gorgeous corner of the island.

The nostalgic Tourist Train leaves directly from the resort and offers some excellent three-hour scenic tours like the one to the charming village of San Carlos or to beautiful secluded beaches on the North East coast. Es Cana maintains a strong Spanish atmosphere with a decidedly undiscovered feeling. Ideal for a quiet break away with your family, Es Cana is as peaceful and serene a location as you will ever find. The stunning coastline is perfect for walking, to the north, walk to Cala Nova and Cala Lena with idyllic places to rest in the shade or to swim in the sandy beaches along the way.

One of the smallest towns in Ibiza, Es Cana is home to the famous hippy market in the Club Arabi resort. Jewellery is a speciality but great clothing, shoes and handmade leather goods and other hand-crafted goods are here too.

The nightlife in Es Cana is relatively quiet but there are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from, ranging from family-friendly bars to late-night lounges. Ibiza Town, with all its attractions, is only a short bus ride away.

Transfer from Ibiza airport approx. 40 mins.
