Mondello is just a short hop from Palermo but is quite different in vibe and atmosphere. This is where Sicilians and visitors from further afield come to play and relax. Boasting a fabulous 1.5km white sandy beach, Mondello welcomes families and watersports enthusiasts to its shores. A lazy morning on the beach followed by a walk along the lungomare (seafront walk) to the Piazza for a delicious lunch from one of the many charming eateries is just the ticket when you're looking to cast all your cares away.

On the north side of Mondello is the beautiful Campo Gallo nature reserve. Here you can find idyllic coastal walks or you can avail of some kayaking or paddle boarding before taking a dip in the azure sea.
