Day 1 - Fly to Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan)

Day 3 - Bishkek & Ala Archa National Park
This morning, visit Ala Archa National Parkwhere you will take a leisurely hike throughthis alpine area, offering spectacular views ofglaciers, waterfalls and high summits. Go onto enjoy a sightseeing tour of Bishkek and visitManas Monument, Old Square and ParliamentHouse plus much more.
Day 4 - Chon Kemin
Venture to the scenic Chon Kemin valley, where gentle foothills invite exploration and authentic village encounters bring the warmth of local Kyrgyz culture to life.
Day 5 - Kochkor Village
Journey to Kochkor Village, a local centre offelt handicrafts, before making your way tothe village of Tamga, where you will spendthe night with local shepherds in their camp.Sleep in a traditional yurt, for a true taste ofthe life of the Kyrgyz nomads.
Day 6 - Golden Eagle Hunting
Today you will meet with a berkutchi,a golden eagle hunter, to watch an eaglehunting demonstration, a millennia-oldKyrgyz tradition. Afterwards, travel to Karakol,stopping at Barskoon Gorge on the way tosee the ‘Tears of the Leopard' waterfall.
Day 7 - Jeti-Orguz Gorge
Visit the Przhevalsky Museum and seethe striking Holy Trinity Orthodox Church.In the afternoon, travel to the Valley ofthe Flowers and Jeti-Orguz where you canwalk through the magnificent canyon of redsandstone, all before joining a local Dungan orUygur family for dinner.
Day 8 - Charyn Canyon & Almaty (Kazakhstan)
Rise early for Karakol's bustling Sunday market.In the afternoon, drive through breathtakingscenery to visit magnificent Charyn Canyon andits Valley of the Castles, before crossing theborder into Kazakhstan, finishing the day in thecountry's largest city, Almaty.
Day 9 - Explore Almaty
This morning, discover the Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, dedicated to the Panfilov heroes of an Alma-Ata Infantry as well as the Ascension Cathedral, a Russian Orthodox church made entirely of wood. In the afternoon, explore the Ili Alatau mountains and Medeu, an outdoor speed skating and bandy rink, located at the height of 1,690 metres. Go on to visit Shymbulak, a mountain resort located 2,260 metres above sea level. Continue to Kok Tobe, before taking a ride on a cable car for magnificent panoramic views of the city.
Day 10 - Almaty to Dushanbe (Tajikistan)
This morning in Almaty is yours to enjoy at your leisure. This afternoon we will transfer to the airport for an evening flight to Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan arriving in the early afternoon
Day 11 - Discover Dushanbe
Take a full day tour of the capital, walkingthrough the botanical gardens, the IsmoiliSomoni monument and Kohi Navruz, acultural palace and showcase of traditionalTajik architecture. After lunch visit thehistorical Fortress of Hissor.
Day 12 - Lake Iskanderkul
Travel into the mountains to the shores ofIskanderkul to soak up the spectacular scenery.Continue to Khujand.
Day 13 - Khujand to Tashkent (Uzbekistan)
Stroll through the vibrant Panjshanbe Bazaar,admire the 10th-century citadel and relaxat Pushkin Square. Cross the border intoUzbekistan, arriving in the city of Tashkent.
Day 14 - Tashkent
Take a step back in time in the old town andexplore the Barak Khan Madrassah, KukeldashMadrassah and the Tila Shaikh Mosque, hometo rare copies of the Koran. Stop at ChorsuBazaar and enjoy free time to wander, beforevisiting the ceramic workshop of Akbar andAlisher Rakhimov, and explore the history ofceramics. Lastly, ride the iconic Tashkent Metroand admire the opulently decorated stations.
Day 15 - Registan Square
Drive to Samarkand. Wanderinto the heart of the city for a first glimpseof some of the magnificent sights in thespectacular Registan Square.
Day 16 - See Samarkand
This morning, see Gur Emir, the mausoleum ofconqueror Tamerlane. Then, wander througha bustling local market and pause to visitShah-I-Zinda and Bibi-Khanum FridayMosque. Visit the Ulugh Beg, an observatoryfounded in the 15th century and consideredone of the finest in the Islamic world.
Day 17 - Shakhrisabz
Drive to Shakhrisabz, the birthplace ofTamerlane, and visit the Ak-Sarai Palace, theDorus Tilayat Cemetery and Kok-GumbasMosque. Journey on to the holy city ofBukhara.
Day 18 - Historic Bukhara
Spend the day exploring one of the most famousand spectacular Silk Road cities, with visits toMadrassah Nadirkhon Devanbegi, Poi KalonMinaret and Mosque and the Ark of Bukhara.
Day 19 - More Bukhara
Head out of Bukhara to Sitora-i-Mokhikhosa,the summer residence of the former Emirof Bukhara. Visit Bahauddin NaqshbandiMausoleum, a famous Sufi spiritual leaderof this region in the 14th century. Enjoy anafternoon at leisure.
Day 20 - Journey to Khiva
Journey across the Kyzyl Kum Desert to Khiva,a magical Silk Road city still hidden behind its10th-century walls. En route you'll make a stopon the picturesque banks of the Amudarya River.
Day 21 - Itchan Kala
Explore ancient Khiva, discovering the sightsof the UNESCO World Heritage inner-walledcity of Itchan Kala including the mighty KuhnaArk and the turquoise-tiled Islom-Khodja.
Day 22 - Explore Konye-Urgench
Cross into Turkmenistan and drive to Konye-Urgench, capital of the Khorezm Empire in the12th-13th centuries. Explore its magnificentmausoleums, the Kutlug Timur minaret and thefabled Mamun's Academy of Sciences. Fly toAshgabat this evening, the nation's capital.
Day 23 - Ashgabat & the Akhal Tekes horses
This morning is free to relax before a visit to alocal stud farm to learn about beautiful AkhalTekes horses. Visit the Kipchak complex, thelargest mosque in Turkmenistan, then learnabout the country's unique history at theNational Museum of History and Ethnography.
Day 24 - The Ancient City of Merv
Rise early for your flight to Mary, then travel overland to the ancient city of Merv; a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous archaeological sites in Central Asia. Return to Mary after to visit the local History Museum.
Day 25 - Darvaza Flaming Crater
Fly back to Ashgabat to explore bothancient and modern sides of the city visitingIndependence Square and the TurkmenistanIndependence Monument to see the ErtoghrulGhazi Mosque. Drive to the Darvaza Gas Craterto walk around the crater as dusk approaches.Enjoy a nomad-inspired dinner under the stars,with a spectacular view of the crater and itsglowing flames. Return to Ashgabat.
Day 26 - More Ashgabat
Learn about the Turkmenistan's importantcotton and gas industries before a visit tothe UNESCO-listed Old Nisa Fortress, astronghold of the ancient Parthian Empire.After lunch continue to the colourful RussianBazaar and the National Carpet Museum.
Day 27 - Fly Ashgabat to UK
Fly to the UK, arriving home later the same day.
