Day 3 - Bishkek & Ala Archa National Park

Day 4 - Issyk Kul Lake

Day 5 - Journey to Karakol

Next, stop at a farmto learn about the breeding of thoroughbredhorses and giant Arashan rams, then spendthe afternoon soaking in a local hot spring,an essential part of the Karakol lifestyle. Thisevening, join a welcoming Dungan family for adelicious home-cooked dinner.

Day 6 - Explore Karakol

Enjoy an active morning with a walk through thepicturesque Karakol Gorge, before returning tothe city to visit the Dungan Mosque and RussianOrthodox Church, known for their unusualconstruction. This afternoon, visit a social enterprisethat supports local women and promotes theproducts they produce, such as jam, dried fruitand felt souvenirs. Tonight, dine on lagman —hand-pulled noodles tossed with spiced lamb, adish that sits at the heart of Uyghur culture.

Day 7 - Jeti-Oguz Gorge

You may wish to rise early this morning tovisit the Karakol Animal Market, a bustlingspectacle each Sunday that draws local farmersand traders, offering a rare and memorableglimpse into rural Kyrgyz life. Travel alongthe scenic southern shore of Issyk Kul to thevillage of Tamga. En route, visit the spectacularJeti-Oguz Gorge, famed for its striking redsandstone formations. Take a walk to spot the‘Broken Heart' and towering ‘Seven Bulls',while admiring sweeping views. Arrive at yourcamp for the next two nights and settle intoyour cosy yurt. Later, learn from the camp chefhow to make ‘manty', a delicious local favouriteof spiced minced meat dumplings.

Day 8 - Barskoon Gorge & Skazka Canyon

Visit Skazka Canyon and enjoy a walk amongits dramatic red rock formations, discoveringwhy it is also known as ‘Fairytale Canyon'.Continue to Kadji-Sai village to meet alocal family of musicians, joining them fora traditional lunch accompanied by a livelyfolklore performance. In the afternoon, walkthrough the dense spruce forest and alpine meadows of Barskoon Gorge to reach thefamous ‘Tears of the Snow Leopard' waterfall.

Day 9 - Meet an Eagle Hunter

Travel to Chon-Kemin Nature Park. Along theway, meet an eagle hunter and see the trainingprocess of these magnificent birds. Stop inKyzyl-Tuu, a village famous for its skilledartisans, learn about the traditional craft ofyurt-making. After lunch, continue to Chon-Kemin where you'll have a hands-on class onhow to make the traditional Kyrgyz dish of tashkordo, before dining on the results.

Day 10 - Return to Bishkek

Learn to make boorsok, traditional Kyrgyz bread,enjoying what you prepared with breakfast.Travel to Bishkek with a stop at Burana Tower,an 11th-century minaret offering panoramicviews of the Chuy Valley and explore the openairmuseum with ancient balbals. Then, enjoya demonstration of ulak tartysh, the thrillingtraditional horse game of Kyrgyzstan's nomadicpeoples. Return to Bishkek where you'll havesome free time before a farewell dinner.
