Day 1 - Fly overnight to Bangkok

Day 3 - Discover Bangkok

Discover Bangkok's historic heart with visits to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho's reclining Buddha. Experience the energy of Chinatown before cruising the Chao Phraya River and canals by longtail boat, with a stop at Pak Khlong Talaat flower market.

Day 4 - Bridge over the River Kwai

Travel southwest to the Maeklong Railway Market, where stalls clear as trains pass through, then visit the colourful Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Continue to Kanchanaburi to explore the Thai-Burma Railway Centre, see the Bridge on the River Kwai and visit the Allied War Cemetery.

Day 5 - Death Railway

Visit Hellfire Pass, one of the most poignant sections of the railway, and explore the memorial museum. Later, enjoy a scenic journey on the Death Railway, crossing wooden viaducts with sweeping jungle views.

Day 6 - Ayutthaya

Explore UNESCO-listed Ayutthaya, the former capital of Siam, visiting atmospheric ruins including Wat Chaiwattanaram and Wat Phra Sri Sanphet. Continue to Bang Pa-In Summer Palace before returning to Bangkok and flying to Chiang Mai.
