A-ROSA's modern Rhine fleet offers enough space for everything that makes guests‘ holidays even more comfortable. The new E-Motion Ship on the Rhine sets completely new standards and is a pioneer on all levels. Since her beginning, A-ROSA SENA has been boarded by guests from non-German speaking countries. Therefore, she is a popular ship for people who like to mix and mingle with travellers from all corners of the world.
Innovative cruising
A-ROSA SENA is ideal for people who love cruising and also want to travel more responsibly. The E-Motion Ship has a hybrid propulsion system with diesel and electric engines and a battery storage. During the cruise, the propulsion system operates in the optimum power range and excess energy is stored in the battery. Thanks to this energy, A-ROSA SENA can dock in ports almost silently and without local emissions.
E-Motion Ship experience for the whole family
There is plenty of space in the 20 m2 standard balcony cabins and the big 28 m2 family cabins sleeping up to five people. The A-ROSA Kids Club has its own dedicated room on board. Many outdoor and dining areas invite guests to enjoy the passing scenery. Parents can take a dip in the 23 m2 pool and kids will love their separate children's pool on deck. The spacious spa and wellness area offers nothing but relaxation. There are also a variety of leisure activities available on board.

Day 1 Cologne, Germany
Cologne is a city in western Germany located across the Rhine river. It is the oldest in Germany, dating back 2000 years and is considered the region's cultural hub. The city is known for its iconic landmark of the twin-spired Cologne Cathedral set against the reconstructed Old Town buildings. When in Old Town, visit the historic Old Town Hall and the Roman Church Great St Martin, or take time out and sit at one of the traditional breweries and enjoy the scenery around you. Historical sites such as the Roman Dionysus mosaic and the medieval Overstolzenhaus are worth a visit too. Another iconic sight in Cologne is at Hohenzollern Bridge. Here, local and tourist couples affix padlocks to the railings of the bridge and swear their loyalty to each other, they then throw the key into the Rhein to ensure everlasting love. Cologne is home to over 30 stages providing cabaret, free ensembles, theatre and dance and also celebrates its openly gay culture.
Day 2 Rotterdam, Netherlands
Rotterdam is a city that's a long way removed from most people's stereotypical notion of the Netherlands. There are few, if any, canals to be found here nor are there any quaint windmills. There is, however, a thriving modern city which is one of the busiest ports in the entire world.
