Included Excursions

BLUE LAGOON: The Blue Lagoon is considered one of the New Wonders of the World. The geothermal water originates 2,000 metres below the surface, where freshwater and seawater combine at extreme temperatures. On its way to the surface, the water picks up silica and minerals and when it emerges the temperature is generally between 37°C and 40°C (98 - 104 °F). The blue colour comes from the silica and the way it reflects sunlight, as the water is actually white. The sun simply makes it look blue!
**This excursion would cost €75pp approx if buying locally and we have included it in the tour.
GOLDEN CIRCLE: The Golden Circle tour allows you to get in touch with some of Iceland's most exciting and famous natural phenomena. Among sightseeing places are Þingvellir National Park, the birthplace of the oldest existing parliament in the world as well as the place where the gigantic tectonic plates of America and Eurasia have pulled apart. You will see the Geysir hot spring area, Iceland’s most iconic natural attraction where the ground trembles and steaming hot water spouts skywards. Finally, you will experience the magnificent Gullfoss Waterfall
**This excursion would cost €86pp if buying locally and we have included it in the tour.
