Long recognised as the gateway to the Turkish Riviera, Antalya and the surrounding area is a delight for the senses. White, sandy beaches border the turquoise Mediterranean sea. Watersports abound and the beaches are clean and well maintained.

The region has, in recent years, become more chic and upmarket with plenty of top-end dining and designer shopping to choose from. But thankfully the traditional experience is still there for you to find in the markets and the Roman and Ottoman architecture. For the golfer there is a wide range of excellent courses to choose from and if scuba diving is your thing then Antalya has some of the best diving in the Mediterranean.

To explore the Antalya area you could, of course, hire a car but we recommend using a local dolmus bus, to immerse yourself fully in the local experience.
