This popular tourist resort is located in the north of Corfu and unlike many other places on the island it is also busy in winter. The economy of this village is based mainly on tourism.

Along the main road, you will find a variety of taverns, shops and restaurants, however, there is no ancient city centre or significant historical sights. But that doesn’t matter because the city has an almost 7 km long sandy and pebble beach on its doorstep. There, you will find the opportunity to enjoy the peace, swim in crystal clear waters and get some much-needed relaxation.
