Corfu Town is the capital of Corfu, one of the most beautiful and elegant towns in Greece. It is the main port of the island and one of the largest and most populated towns of the Ionian Islands.

Built on a promontory, the town displays a unique architecture that is strongly influenced by different dominations. All of the different architectural styles gives Corfu Town a unique charm, character and atmosphere. Both, in the modern part and in the old town centre you can find all kinds of shops. Inside the old town, there is a large variety of tourist shops that sell traditional products and handcrafts of Corfu Island. Restaurants, bars and many other shops are scattered all over the city.

Corfu city may not have a sandy beach with crystal clear waters to swim in but you may well visit the nearby numerous beaches. There is a daily bus that runs to the all most important tourist villages of Corfu Island and in less than half-an-hour’s drive away is a Waterpark.
