Along the east coast of the island, approximately 13 kms from Corfu lies the enchanting village of Benitses.

Here you can experience the authentic Greek fishing village atmosphere that people are always looking for yet never seem to find. Benitses may have been one of the livelier resorts in the past but now it is the perfect base for a family holiday with plenty of family-friendly tavernas and restaurants to be found. There are also the pristine blue-flag beaches to look forward to.

No doubt about it Benitses is a laid back resort but if you're looking for a little more excitement then it's only 25 minutes by car or there is the regular bus service to Corfu.
