Mlini

Croatia

Mlini is the largest resort along the Dubrovnik Riviera. It is only 11km from Dubrovnik, with a backdrop of dramatic hills and with several excellent beaches. Although now a busy resort, Mlini still retains an old-world charm with many of the older buildings still in use today. It has a beautiful seaside promenade and several local cafes and restaurants. There is a local bus line that can take you to Dubrovnik in just 10 minutes and buses run frequently. Mlini certainly caters for the traveller looking for a relaxing holiday but also for those who are looking for more adventurous times. There is snorkelling, diving, kayaking, windsurfing and sailing, and even some water polo if you fancy something different. If you're a Game of Thrones fan you can take a ferry to the island of Lokrum to see one of the locations used in filming and take a themed tour. Mlini in summer will be busy and buzzy but also very welcoming and easy going.
