Walking in Slovenia – Lakes, Gorges & Julian Alps


Day 1 – Arrive in Slovenia
Fly from Dublin to Trieste and transfer to Kranjska Gora, a charming alpine village nestled at the foot of the Julian Alps. Settle into your hotel and enjoy a relaxed afternoon before joining your group for a welcome dinner.

Day 2 – Forest Trails & Waterfalls of Gozd Martuljek
A gentle walk through forests and alpine meadows to the dramatic Martuljek Waterfalls, with views of towering Mt. Špik and traditional mountain huts along the way. Afternoon at leisure back in Kranjska Gora.

Day 3 – Vršic Pass & Slemenova Špica
Travel up the spectacular Vršic Pass and enjoy a high alpine walk to Slemenova Špica, offering sweeping views across the peaks and valleys of the Triglav National Park.

Day 4 – From Lake Bled to Lake Bohinj
Visit Lake Bled, including a traditional boat trip to its island church. Continue to Lake Bohinj, Slovenia’s largest natural lake, and check into your lakeside hotel.

Day 5 – Mostnica Gorge & Voje Valley
Walk from Bohinj through the magical Mostnica Gorge to the peaceful Voje Valley, ending at a scenic waterfall. A varied day of woodland trails, meadows, and mountain views.

Day 6 – Explore Lake Bohinj at Leisure
A free day to walk the lakeside loop, ride the Vogel Cable Car for mountaintop views, or visit Savica Waterfall. Optional short walks or a relaxed lakeside afternoon.

Day 7 – Ljubljana City Visit
Transfer to Slovenia’s capital, Ljubljana, for a guided tour of its historic old town, riverfront cafés, and famous bridges. Afternoon free to explore at your own pace.

Day 8 – Depart Slovenia

A Taste of Málaga & the Costa del Sol


Day 1 – Arrive in Málaga
Fly into Málaga Airport and meet your local guide for a short transfer into the city. After settling into your hotel in the historic centre, enjoy a welcome walking tour of Málaga’s old town, ending with a tapas dinner at a traditional bodega featuring local wines and Andalusian classics.

Day 2 – Málaga Market Tour & Cooking Experience
Start with a guided visit to Atarazanas Market, where vibrant stalls overflow with fresh seafood, spices, and olives. Pick up ingredients with your chef before heading to a hands-on cooking class, learning to prepare authentic Andalusian dishes like salmorejo, espeto de sardinas, or paella. Afternoon at leisure to explore the Picasso Museum, the Alcazaba, or simply relax at a seaside café.

Day 3 – Day Trip to Ronda & Winery Visit
Journey inland through dramatic mountain scenery to the whitewashed town of Ronda, famed for its clifftop views and historic bullring. Enjoy a walking tour followed by a visit to a local winery for a tasting lunch with regional wines and produce. Return to the coast in the late afternoon.

Day 4 – Coastal Flavours in Marbella
Head west to the charming old town of Marbella for a tapas trail through its cobbled streets and hidden plazas. Visit a family-run olive oil mill or a jamón ibérico producer, learning about the heritage behind Spain’s most prized delicacies. The afternoon is free to unwind by the sea or explore Marbella’s chic marina. Optional seafood dinner in a beachfront chiringuito.

Day 5 – Depart Málaga
After a final leisurely breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight—taking with you a true taste of Andalucía.




Bridge & Relaxation in Cyprus


Day 1 – Arrive in Cyprus & Welcome Dinner
Arrive at Paphos, where you’ll be met and transferred to the 4 star Athena Beach hotel, perfectly suited for bridge players with all the rooms and facilities necessary and an enviable beachfront location. After check-in, enjoy time to settle in and explore the grounds or nearby promenade. In the evening, gather with your fellow travellers for a welcome dinner with local dishes and wines, followed by a casual introductory bridge session to ease into the holiday.

Day 2 – Bridge & Coastal Leisure
Enjoy a morning bridge session with a friendly and supportive host or director. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy: stroll the palm-lined seafront, visit a local café, or simply unwind by the pool. In the early evening, regroup for a social bridge session followed by dinner in the hotel or at a nearby taverna.

Day 3 Ancient Paphos & Winery Visit
This morning, join an half-day tour to discover UNESCO-listed Paphos, including the House of Dionysus mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings. Continue into the hills to visit a traditional Cypriot winery, with a tasting and light lunch featuring fresh local produce. Return to the hotel in time for an afternoon bridge game, followed by a relaxed evening.

Day 4 – Tournament Day & Farewell Dinner
Today is tournament day! A gentle two-part duplicate tournament will take place with a break for lunch, giving players a chance to shine and win a few prizes. Non-players may choose a gentle walk, a spa treatment, or a visit to a local olive oil or halloumi farm. In the evening, enjoy a farewell gala dinner with Cypriot music, dancing, and prize-giving.

Day 5 – Depart for Home
After a leisurely breakfast, transfer to the airport for your journey home, full of sunshine, new friendships, and fond memories of Cyprus.
