On arrival at the hotel, we have arranged a light lunch of sandwiches accompanied by tea and coffee, giving you a chance to relax and refresh after your journey. Following lunch, we will set off on our guided walking tour of Kraków’s historic city centre, where you’ll discover its charming streets, iconic landmarks, and rich cultural heritage.”
After the tour, the evening is at your leisure to relax, enjoy a meal, or further explore the city at your own pace.”

Day 2 - Auschwitz-Birkenau

After breakfast we will be picked up and brought to Auschwitz-Birkenau for our private guided tour. Auschwitz-Birkenau is a poignant journey through one of history's darkest chapters. Guided by knowledgeable narrators, visitors explore Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau, witnessing the haunting remnants of the Holocaust. The tour delves into the unimaginable suffering endured by millions as we are led past the prisoner barracks, gas chambers, and crematoria. The vastness of Birkenau's "Gate of Death" leaves a lasting impact as it should while commemorating the lives tragically lost. This sombre experience imparts the importance of remembrance, compassion, and tolerance, encouraging visitors to honour the victims' memory and strive for a world where such atrocities never recur. It serves as a powerful reminder to embrace humanity and unity.

After the tour in the late afternoon, we will be dropped back to the hotel. You have the evening free to explore Krakow at your own pace and enjoy the city. Perhaps you’ll revisit some highlights from Day 1 or ‘get lost’ and see where the cobblestones lead you.

Day 3 – Day at Leisure
Today is yours to enjoy at leisure as you continue exploring the wonders of Krakow. Be sure to visit key highlights such as Schindler’s Factory, Wawel Castle and Cathedral, and the vibrant Market Square. There is so much to discover, yet never quite enough time to see it all.
If you’d like to venture beyond the city, an optional excursion to the Wieliczka Salt Mines is available. Located just outside Krakow, this UNESCO World Heritage site offers a fascinating underground experience. The mines captivate visitors with vast salt-carved chambers, winding tunnels, and intricate sculptures. As you descend below ground, you’ll encounter shimmering salt lakes, finely chiselled statues, and impressive underground chapels decorated with sparkling salt crystals. With a history spanning more than 700 years, the guided tour provides insight into the salt-mining industry and the lives of the miners who worked there. A true highlight is the breathtaking Chapel of St. Kinga, an underground masterpiece carved entirely from salt.
The excursion lasts approximately three hours, after which you will be transferred back to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to enjoy at your leisure.
