Day 1 - Fly overnight to Siem Reap

Fly overnight to Siem Reap where you will be met in the arrival hall and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your time of arrival, the rest of the day is yours to start soaking up the local culture.

Day 3 - Siem Reap

Enter the walled city of Angkor Thom and head to its heart to see the enigmatic Bayon, followed by the atmo spheric Ta Prohm. After a magical morning, return to Siem Reap for lunch (at your own expense). This afternoon is dedicated to the indescribable Angkor Wat, the world's largest religious monument and best-preserved temple in the complex. Later, set-off to local restaurant for an early dinner before an enthralling experience at the Phare Cambodian Circus, showcasing a talented cast accomplished in acrobatics, contortion, aerial ballet, tightrope walking, juggling, mime, drama, and comedy

Day 4 - Explore more of Siem Reap

Enjoy the morning at leisure to explore at your own pace. In the afternoon, visit the Apopo Visitor Center where you will meet the brave HeroRATs in action, famous for their part in detecting landmines and saving the lives of many local people. Transfer back to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure

Day 5 - Kampong Chham and Angkor Ban

This morning travel by coach from Siem Reap to Kampong Chham and set off for lunch before embarkation. Meet your crew for the next 7 nights and enjoy your first sunset on the Mekong River

Day 6 - Angkor Ban, Koh Dach and Koh Chen

Enjoy a morning excursion to explore the village of Angkor Ban with its wooden stilt houses. After having lunch on the ship, travel by a three-wheeled tuk tuk to Silk Island where you will learn about the process of silk weaving, from worm to loom, with the chance to observe local families weaving the iconic Cambodian krama

Day 7 - Koh Chen, Oudong and Phnom Penh

Take a walking tour of the village of Koh Chen where the highlight is meeting a local copper and silversmith. Afterwards, travel by coach to Oudong, the ancient capital of Cambodia. After lunch on board arrive in Phnom Penh and hop on a pedal powered cyclo to the elegant Raffles Hotel Le Royal for a signature cocktail at the famed Elephant Bar

Day 8 - Phnom Penh

Explore the majestic Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda complex and walk to the nearby National Museum, a beautiful sandstone building that showcases the world's largest collection of Khmer art. Pay your respects at Choeung Ek, one of the mass grave sites of the Killing Fields before returning to the ship to enjoy a lively Apsara dance performance before dinner.

Day 9 - Cruise into Vietnam

As the ship begins cruising towards the Cambodia-Vietnam border, select from the many onboard activities including a ship tour, mini golf tournament, or simply enjoy the scenery. Tender sampans take you ashore to visit a local temple, see fish farms and stilt houses, and get your first glimpse of the Vietnamese countryside. Return on board for a traditional Vietnamese lion dance before dinner.

Day 10 - Phu Tan and Tiger Island

Tender ashore at Phu Tan to visit a craft village famed for handmaking Ca Rang clay stoves. After lunch on board, head ashore by sampan and explore Tiger Island by 3 wheeled xe loi learning about cottage industries such as plant pot making and incense making. Visit a site locally known as “Mr Tiger's Temple” and hear the story that won the island its name

Day 11 - Long Xuyen and Dinh Yen

Travel by tender to witness the mesmerizing Long Xuyen floating market and tour the An Giang Museum, with fascinating exhibits on Kinh Chinese, Khmer and Cham cultures in the region. Enjoy lunch on board as we cruise towards the village of Dinh Yen where we'll observe colourful straw mats being woven on mechanized looms. This evening enjoy a traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music performance known as Ð?n ca tài t? followed by a final farewell dinner

Day 12 - Can Tho to Saigon

Enjoy breakfast on the terrace of Claypot Restaurant with time to enjoy the view from the pool or from your private balcony before disembarkation. Drive to Cai Be where lunch is served at the elegant Le Longanier Restaurant, set amidst lush fruit trees by the river. Take a coach transfer to Saigon taking approximately 3 hours, arriving mid-afternoon. Formally renamed Ho Chi Minh City, but still locally known by its older name of Saigon, this exuberant city is driving Vietnam forward into the modern world, but is also a treasure trove of fascinating heritage. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure to start soaking up the sights

Day 13 - Saigon

Start the trip with a walk down to Rue Catinat, the most historic street in Saigon, housing the city's most famous hotels, restaurants, bars, boutiques, and retail establishments. Take a short stroll along Dong Khoi Street to the Opera House. Next, travel to the city's famous Central Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral. After lunch (at your own expense), continue to the War Remnants Museum. Here, your guide will tell the story of the city's darkest and most tragic hours during the Vietnam War. Continue to B?n Thành Market, a famous shopping destination for many local and foreign tourists from all around the world. Return to your hotel for an evening at leisure.

Day 14 - Cu Chi Tunnels

Begin your journey to the Cu Chi Tunnels with a drive through the countryside which was once a stronghold of the Viet Cong. Upon arrival, watch a short video about what life was like for soldiers who lived there during the war before exploring the area. The cramped tunnels were central to a few of the war's strategic operations, including the famous 1968 Tet Offensive, and they didn't escape damage. The tunnels served not only as living quarters but as supply routes and hospitals for thousands of guerilla fighters. Return to Saigon for an afternoon at leisure.

Day 15 - Depart Saigon

Transfer to Ho Chi Minh airport for your flight to the UK, arriving the same or next day.
