Hollywood

Hollywood is a must do for any trip to Los Angeles! See the famous Hollywood sign. Originally the sign read ‘Hollywoodland’ and was to advertise a housing development, now an iconic symbol of this famous town. The hub of activity is at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue. Here you will find most of the attractions including the Chinese Theatre with its cemented courtyard showing the hands and footprints of the stars, the Dolby Theatre which hosts the Oscars every year and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Come nightfall Sunset Strip is the place to be seen, home to several cool bars, trendy restaurants, quirky comedy clubs and cool nightclubs, some of which are owned by celebrities themselves

Top Tips:
Stroll along the world renowned Hollywood Walk Of Fame picking out the names of all the stars from the golden era right up to today. You can take a shuttle to some view-points or go on a guided tour of Hollywood that includes a view of the sign.

Get a glimpse of all how it all works with a visit to Universal Studios, Hollywood’s top tourist attraction. Take the studio tour, enjoy the incredible theme park rides, shows, attractions and soak up all the atmosphere in its CityWalk area which is home to many bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

A short walk away you will find the Hollywood Museum, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, The Guinness World of Records Museum and Hollywood Museum. Head for West Hollywood if shopping is your thing.

Why not make the most of your visit to LA and combine a few nights in Hollywood with another of Sunway’s exciting Los Angeles destinations, including Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and Downtown LA.
