A typical, cosy Portuguese casa, Villa Rato is a traditional home with whitewashed walls and terracotta-tile roofs. The interiors paint a different picture, designed with a minimalist touch and simple décor that contrasts with the burnt orange floor tiles and classic features. The living space is bright and modern, with a plush sofa, pine furnishings, and a warm colour scheme. The kitchen is bold and radiant, finished in a shabby-chic style with bright green cabinets. If a day spent lounging by the pool sounds like your idea of heaven, then Villa Rato won’t disappoint. Outside is a secluded patio terrace where you can unwind in total relaxation, with a sparkling pool sitting centre stage. For tanning spots, you’re spoilt for choice, with a row of plush loungers sitting on the poolside. A brick-built barbecue provides the perfect opportunity to cook alfresco in the sunshine. Why not try grilling some freshly caught seafood or spicy chorizo? Serve up dinner on the table on your private terrace, soaking up the Portuguese sunshine as you eat. When it's time to explore the local area, step just a few metres south towards the beach, and you'll find yourself on the Praia de Gale. This stretch of golden beach is swept far and wide and filled with restaurants, water sports, and bustling bars along the promenade.

Mobility
To access the villa there is a path which is 110cm wide alongside 2 steps. The front door has a width of 78cm, whilst the door to the terrace is 66cm wide. The path to the poolside is 120cm wide. This path is not level with the grass in some areas. The terrace is open-plan, flat and tiled with a small lawn area. The pool itself has ladder access. Inside, the ground floor bedroom doors are 66cm wide, whilst the bathroom doors are 62cm wide. There are 16 steps to the first floor.
