Villa Rioja

Set in the activity-packed Playa Blanca, you’re in the heart of the action at Villa Rioja. With a string of white sand beaches with calm, shallow waters, lay your towel down on the sands or do some hair-raising water sports. When hunger strikes, there are rows of restaurants and bars hugging the lively Rubicon Marina, with a string of shops and authentic restaurants in the Old Town. The house beautifully blends in with the whitewashed architecture of the town, with bright white stucco exteriors and window shutters. In the living space, the bright colour palette continues, with fresh-light painted walls and beige sofas mixed in with splashes of vivid blue cushions and a bold dining table, all styled with simplicity. Tucked to the side is the kitchen, finished with all the appliances you'd expect for a self-catering holiday, including a microwave, tall fridge-freezer and hob, with three elegant bedrooms, it’s the ideal size for a family to comfortably sleep up to six adults.

Our favourite feature has to be the terrace. There are multiple seating spots on hand for sitting back and soaking up the Spanish sunshine, with sun loungers on the upper balcony or on the poolside. Days spent relaxing at Villa Rioja with the sparkling pool* are great for morning swims or making a splash with the kids. The evenings are something special, with a wooden veranda that creates an intimate dinner spot. There’s even a barbecue if you fancy whipping up some fresh produce and goodies. There’s also a pool table for your entertainment and a bubbling hot tub* to sink into.

Mobility

To access the villa there is a path which is 107cm along with 4 steps. The front door has a width of 85cm. The outside is an open tiled terrace which is flat. The pool itself has ladder access. When entering the villa, there is a 3cm lip through the front door. Inside the villa, the widest bedroom door on the ground floor is 73cm wide and the widest bathroom door on the ground floor is also 73cm wide. There are 16 steps to the first floor, where the bedroom door has a width of 70cm, and the bathroom door has a width of 60cm.
