Barbados Holidays

Barbados is one of the smaller islands of the Caribbean, just 20 miles long and 15 miles across at its widest point. The west coast is home to some of the most luxurious hotels and resorts, including world class golf courses and trend-setting restaurants. Its palm-lined white sandy beaches with their calm blue waters lap gently at the shore. The livelier south coast is known for its popular bars, restaurants and nightclubs at St Lawrence Gap. The livelier surf of the South’s beaches make it a great spot for water-sports. A place where refined luxury and exceptional culinary delights dance and mingle among lush tropical greenery, deep blue waters, protected coral reefs and warm golden sunlight.

Barbados is not just about the beaches though, it has several historical, architectural and cultural points of interest. Harrisons’ Cave is a mesmerising crystallized limestone cave with crystal clear pools and flowing streams. Barbados has 2 of the remaining 3 known Jacobean mansions left in the western world with St. Nicholas Abbey in the north of the island being open to the public. Take a tour of the islands historical capital, Bridgetown, with its UNESCO World Heritage Site awarded garrison. Spend a day on a white sandy beach. Try some boogie boarding or kite-surfing. Discover the tropical marine life diving or snorkelling. Or simply sit back and get stuck into your book! Enjoy a rum punch, or two along the way!

Learn to trade the hectic for the slow and easy and you have the Barbadian way of things! A tiny island with a huge heart and a warm welcoming proud people! Sunway have picked a range of hotels starting from 3* options upwards so something for all budgets and tastes.
