Borneo

1/1

Borneo

The island of Borneo is divided into 4 separate states, Malaysian Sabah and Sarawak, the Indonesian state of Kalimantan and the independent state of Brunei and Sunway’s program focuses on the state of Sabah which is the 2nd largest state in Malaysia.

Flying into Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is the gateway to Malaysia's Borneo, an exotic land of hidden treasures blessed with wonderfully diverse nature, unique flora and fauna, endangered species such as the orangutan, distinct cultures, sandy beaches and boasting some of the oldest rainforests in the world.

A haven for divers, Sipadan Island is one of the world’s highest rated dive spots. Tabin is Sabah’s largest wildlife reserve while Danum Valley is a world renowned conversation area. Sabah is the perfect place for an exotic beach holiday combined for the more adventurous with jungle trekking, cave exploration, white water rafting, mountain climbing or deep sea diving.

Why not combine your Borneo getaway or adventure with one of the Malaysia's other beach resorts or Kuala Lumpur. Our sales team will happily tailor-make an itinerary to suit your needs and as the Sabah people would say with a smile “selamat datang” meaning 'Most Welcome'!
