Bitez

Turkey, Bodrum

Bitez Bitez is one of many popular holiday destinations on Turkey’s Aegean Coast. Olive groves and citrus plants colour the sunny landscape. It’s a great place for lounging by the beach and totally unwinding or alternatively, enjoying water sports along the beautiful coastline.

Bitez has become well known as a destination for water sports, especially wind surfing and sailing. Boat trips along the stunning coastline of the Bodrum peninsula coasts show off the rich colour, jagged rocks and bright foliage contrasted against the clear, turquoise sea. You can safely jump into the crystal blue waters to swim and snorkel and see plenty of fish and other marine life. Bodrum Dedeman Aquapark is well worth checking out for family fun.

Shop in the outdoor markets and handicraft shops for jewellery, leather, carpet, clothes and handmade crafts.

Enjoy the Aegean and Mediterranean cuisine, as well as authentic Turkish cuisine and the flavour of the sea in restaurants and cafes along the coast and the beach promenade of Bitez. At nightime, there are plenty of fun cafes, bars, and restaurants in Bitez but it is a quieter resort than neighbouring ones. You can also have a day out to see the popular sights and historical sites on the Bodrum peninsula, including the Bodrum Windmills on the hills between Gumbet and central Bodrum, Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, Bodrum Castle and the Museum of Underwater Archaeology, the Myndos Gate and an ancient Amphitheater in central Bodrum, as well as the ruins of Pedasa.

With a transfer time of only 50 minutes from the Milas Bodrum Airport, getting to Bitez is quick and easy.
