Playa de los Pocillos has a wide and scenic beach with a gentle slope into mostly calm, shallow waters and is a beach lover’s dream. Compared to its slightly livelier neighbours of Puerto del Carmen and Arrecife, Playa de los Pocillos is peaceful, low-key and laid-back, with a family-friendly feel.

Activity at this tranquil seaside haven centres around the sandy beach, where small children will love paddling and splashing in the sea. Its an ideal spot for families with young children as the sea here is much gentler here than on other parts of the island. Nightlife slants more towards live music and outdoor eating and is a quieter spot than the busier resorts. However, you can stroll along the seafront promenade all the way to neighbouring Matagorda or on to buzzy Puerto del Carmen for more options in restaurants and bars.
