Lanzarote, Canaries

Costa Teguise is a seaside resort town on the eastern coast of Lanzarote about half an hour from the airport. Its small but well-developed and very popular with families. The beach there, Las Cucharas, is half a kilometre of white, golden sand and packed with family fun. Everyone will love the surfing, scuba diving and pedal boats. The windsurfing club there accepts advanced and beginners and offers snorkelling, sea kayaking, Stand Up Paddle boarding (SUP), bodyboarding, and windsurfing.

Stroll along Plaza Tenerife, a beautiful beach promenade where there is a series of family restaurants. There’s a good mix of options, ranging from Tex Mex diners to steakhouses. Night time fun include lots of pubs and cocktail bars to choose from. Diners can choose restaurants serving Spanish tapas, Italian pizzas, or even Indian menus. The Pueblo Marinero (The Maritime Town) holds a market on Wednesdays and Fridays and where you can also enjoy live music as the sun goes down.

The town has an aquarium, and there’s a waterpark where the kids can enjoy several pools and over a dozen different slides of varying thrill levels. For thrill-seekers, there are tall and spiralling slides such as the Turbolancha and the Aqualancha, as well as “racing track” style slides. For younger kids, there’s the kiddie lake with a ball pool and small slides. All slides and pools are professionally supervised by a team of lifeguards.

Costa Teguise Golf Club is located in the foothills of an ancient volcano and with breath-taking views over the Atlantic Ocean. It’s only five minutes away from the main hotels and beaches of Costa Teguise and open all year round.

Transfer from Arrecife airport approx. 20 mins.
