Santo Tomas is one of the quieter resorts on the island and is definitely one for those seeking a more relaxed holiday. If you’re thinking of exploring beyond the resort then car rental might be a good idea. There are some fantastic virgin beaches nearby which can be explored by sea-kayak, horseback or on foot.
There are two beaches accessible from the resort. Playa San Adeodato is most popular as it has water sports, lifeguard and beach bar as well as being the shallower of the two. It should be noted that there are some strong currents near Santo Tomas so please heed lifeguard warnings and beach flags.
There is some limited nightlife in the resort. For a wider selection perhaps walk in to Son Bou in the early evening and take a taxi back to Santo Tomas later. If you’re staying in the resort there is a long beach promenade which is ideal for walking off your evening meal or for families with buggies looking for a sunset stroll.
Santo Tomas has two supermarkets, some tourist shops and an ATM.
A quiet resort in a beautiful, tranquil setting Santo Tomas offers a chance to unwind and genuinely get away from it all.
