This resort is an excellent option for families with small children due to its shallow waters next to a beautiful, white sandy beach which is regularly voted as one of the top five beaches in Menorca. Here you will also find a wide selection of water sports and easy access to amenities. The horseshoe shape also gives the beach area a relaxed lake-side feel. Beyond the beach Arenal Den Castell is surrounded by beautiful countryside and a marine reserve making the area ideal for walking or cycling on the coastline paths.

Shopping is mostly of the supermarket and souvenir variety. For a wider choice a trip into Mahon is recommended.

To see Arenal at a more leisurely pace try the tourist train which travels through the resort to the fishing village of Na Macaret. Here you’ll find excellent Menorcan cuisine.
