Away from the beach Sunny Beach offers plenty of activities to keep you entertained including folklore evenings in traditional villages, shopping for local handicrafts, go-karting and party nights. The Action Aquapark in Sunny Beach West makes for a great family day out. There are several other water parks to choose from also. Or pamper yourself in one of the top hotels spas. Nightlife is plentiful with a huge variety of pubs, nightclubs and restaurants to choose from so your nights can be as active as your days. There is even an excursion to Istanbul from this resort! We highly recommend a visit to the nearby UNESCO town of Nessebar, a 6th century town offering a romantic and cultural experience. The waters of Pomorie, approximately 18 miles away, are said to have healing properties and have been attracting visitors since Roman times. Should you wish to venture further the Black Sea city of Varna is approximately 95km away and offers plenty of historical sights from Roman baths to ornate cathedrals. Sunny Beach makes for a great holiday destination with a short airport transfer, an abundance of facilities both on and off the beach and offers great value for money.
