Singapore Holidays

Located in the heart of Southeast Asia, Singapore is a modern, wealthy and dynamic city that has maintained its rich ethnic, cultural and historical heritage. Discover Singapore's unique melting pot of cultures, cuisine and art due to its mix of Malay, Arabic, Chinese, Indian and European cultures.

It offers quite the contrast between towering skyscrapers, remnants of tropical rainforests, architecture and influences from colonial times and traditional ethnic areas. With such a variety of influences Singapore offers many different areas for the holidaymaker to explore, including Chinatown where you can visit the colourful night markets or the Chinatown Heritage Centre, Arab Street to check out the Sultan Mosque or Little India where the enticing aromas of exotic herbs and spices are sure to tickle your taste buds.

The duck and hippo tours offer a slightly alternative way of taking in the sights. Take your seat on an amphibious craft which covers both land and sea! Or take a hop on, hop off city bus tour. A great way to get your bearings and see all the sights at the same time. Or take a traditional boat trip down the Singapore River. Perhaps afternoon tea in the internationally famous Raffles hotel!

Sentosa Island is one of the forty islands surrounding Singapore and offers a pleasant contrast to the city. It is a themed attraction, tropical resort, nature-park and heritage centre all rolled into one. Singapore Zoo and Underwater World are popular attractions.

Singapore is undoubtedly a shopper’s paradise! It’s the perfect place to shop for the finest products from both East and West. In the ethnic quarters you will find outdoor stalls and colourful shops brimming with ethnic items, while the modern shopping malls offer the latest range of fashion, international brands, jewellery, consumer goods and lifestyle products. With so much to see and do in the city the only problem you’ll have is figuring out how to fit it all in!
