Lakitira Beach Resort is not just a family affair – we also warmly welcome adult guests travelling without children, offering an adult-only swimming pool and a quiet area on the beach plus activities including social tennis, group windsurfing and sailing lessons as well as aerobics and fitness classes. Solo travellers, single parents or groups of friends are also invited to a social dinner to meet fellow guests at the start of the holiday.
The resort is just a few minutes from buzzing Kardamena with its bars and nightlife and not far from delightful, picturesque Kos town. Day-trips to Bodrum in Turkey can also be arranged – great for those with serious shopping in mind.
There are plenty of activities on offer with social tennis, watersports lessons and a variety of aerobic and fitness classes, however if you fancy getting out and about, a short distance from the beach resort is the town of Kardamena with its lively atmosphere.
Slightly further afield is the attractive and bustling Kos town with mosques, a medieval castle and ancient remains, most notably Asklepion. A day trip to the pretty cosmopolitan Bodrum is a must for those with a love of shopping, there's an exceptional choice of shops and restaurants however Bodrum still retains the character of a pretty market town.
For those travelling alone, rest assured you are most likely to meet like-minded people at this resort. Right at the start of your holiday, our Customer Service team invite you to an informal early evening drinks in the bar where you will get the chance to meet fellow guests, and join a group table for dinner.
Mark Warner is not just about families and recent feedback from those travelling without children to this resort is that "they will be back!"
Single parents can enjoy some 'me' time at the spa or reading a book on the beach while the little ones are in childcare.
We arrange social tables in the evenings where groups of like-minded adults can meet together for adult conversation over some great food.
