This large, welcoming hotel is a real hit with families, with its wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Our staff will take good care of you from the moment you arrive to the time you leave, carrying your bags to your room for you on arrival and being on hand throughout your stay. Best of all is the location in La Plagne – just take a look out of the restaurant windows and you’ll see the piste right in front of you, with the lifts directly opposite the hotel and the ski schools 150 metres away.

The Chalet hotel has a spacious restaurant and lounge, decorated in warm wooden panelling and bright fabrics. Full English breakfast, afternoon tea and a three course dinner with complimentary wine are all served here, and throughout the day there is tea, coffee and hot chocolate available at anytime. So, grab a cuppa and stretch out on the fabulous sun terrace and keep an eye on your children playing in the snow below.

For a relaxing evening drink, relax in the snug hotel bar or if you prefer something livelier, pop into Scotty’s Bar just next door and max out your après ski.

The comfortable bedrooms can be configured to suit your individual needs, and many can take an extra cot or bed. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with wc, bath or shower with hairdryers available on request from reception. 

Renowned Childcare Service

We offer our renowned childcare service at Chalet hotel Christina and have teamed up with Oxygène Ski School who run ski classes for children from as young as 3 years old who can learn snow skills while they have fun in the Snowman Kindergarten.

Accommodation

Restaurant

Our restaurant at Chalet hotel Christina has incredible piste views. Enjoy a full English breakfast, afternoon tea and three course dinner with complimentary wine all served from this perfectly located restaurant. Throughout the day there is tea, coffee and hot chocolate available at anytime. The fabulous sun terrace is the perfect place to enjoy your afternoon tea whilst keeping an eye on your children playing in the snow below. A children's high tea is available 7 days a week for children 12 years and under. 

The snug hotel bar is great for a relaxing evening drink, if you prefer something livelier, Scotty’s Bar just next door is great for some lively après.

One evening a week dinner is not served in the Chalet hotel allowing you the opportunity to dine out at one of the excellent local restaurants.

The reception at Chalet hotel Christina is available from 8am to 8pm daily, our customer service team are there to offer support and assistance so that you can relax and enjoy your holiday.

You may charge hotel bills to your room or pay by cash (€). Card payment is accepted at reception. A laundry service is available through reception, at an extra charge.

Wifi is available free of charge. 

Award Winning Childcare

Chalet hotel Christina and the resort of La Plagne are ideal for family skiing with the ski slopes right on the doorstep. Childcare at the hotel is available for children from age 4 months to 12 years and is pre-bookable prior to departure.

The hotel crèche is colourful, fun and fully equipped with all essentials such as toys, cots, potties, bottle sterilisers and fridge. There is also a parents kitchen facility for any late night feeds and a free Evening Listening Service which runs from 7.30pm to 11pm allowing parents to relax over dinner whilst the children enjoy quiet time supervised by our nannies with a dvd and a story. 

Ski School

We work very closely with Oxygène Ski School (recent winners of Best European Ski School), who are happy to teach children from 3 years upwards. Children that are booked into the children's clubs will be dropped off and collected from ski school by our childcare staff and from there bought back to the hotel where we provide lunch and afternoon activities (or return to ski school) all supervised.

For children that are not skiing and are booked into the children's clubs then a mountain of fun and games both indoor and outdoor awaits daily.

Baby Club (4-11 months)

Our Baby Club provides a warm, homely and secure environment. We provide one nanny to two babies so the little ones are soon settled and contented. Your baby's day is organised to fit in with their needs and, wherever possible, to your times for naps, milk and feeds. So when your holiday's over, you'll hopefully be able to slip back into your normal routine.

Supervised Lunch and High Tea are included.

Toddler Club (1-2 years)

Our Toddler Club is perfectly set up for this most lively-minded age group. Throughout the day our nannies lay on a busy programme of games, stories, music and art to keep toddlers amused. Weather permitting, there are buggy outings and snow play for the older toddlers. Where possible, we try to ensure that children have the same nanny all week, and we do our utmost to adapt to your child's usual daily routine.

Supervised Lunch and High Tea are included.
6 Full days: 9am to 5.30pm - £285 per week

Mini Club (3-5 years)

Our Mini Club is pure fun! Children will enjoy sledging, snowman building and exciting cable car rides - often with a stop-off for a cup of hot chocolate. The action continues indoors, with a full programme that includes arts and crafts, face painting and games.

If you've a child who'd like to combine crèche activities with learning to ski, we can arrange ski lessons* with a Mark Warner recommended ski school* and include our drop-off and collection service provided by our nannies. 

In La Plagne, the Snowman Kindergarten ski school* is provided especially for 3 year olds.

Supervised Lunch and High Tea are included.
6 Full days: 9am to 5.30pm - £180 per week

Kidz Club (6-12 years)

In the Kidz Club it's all about action, with the emphasis on having fun in the snow. And if your children also want to ski, they're still welcome to join. Our nannies can take them to our Mark Warner recommended ski school* and bring them back for lunch with the others from Kidz Club.

For non-skiers there's a packed programme of entertainment from sledging, snow sculptures, face painting, games and treasure hunts. Our energetic nannies also supervise excursions such as bowling and ice skating for which there's a small extra charge.

5 Full days: 9am to 6.30pm & 9am to 1pm (Saturday) - £155 per week

Free Evening Listening Service

Our supervised Evening Listening Service is open from 7.30pm until 11pm six days a week and offers a quiet sleeping space for little ones and a comfy area for those who want to watch a DVD or listen to a story. 

Babysitting is available at an extra charge, subject to availability.

Lift Pass Collection Services 

Pre-book your lift passes in the UK before you depart to Chalet hotel Christina and they will be at the hotel when you arrive, giving you one less thing to arrange on your first day. Should you wish to pre-book then please do so no later than 2 weeks prior to your departure date.

A 6 or 8 day full La Plagne or Les Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry pass with one day's access to the entire Paradiski area, on any day of your choice. This pass is ideal for those that wish to cover a large ski area and enjoy exceptional skiing.

Full La Plagne or Les Arc/Peisey-Vallandry Pass
A 6 or 8 day full pass allows you to ski La Plagne or the Les Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry ski areas which are at the heart of the Alps and close to resort life.

Skiing can sometimes seem like an elite club!  What with the technical jargon, specialist equipment and ski resorts that sound like they should be in the Chronicles of Narnia, it is slightly daunting for those of us who want to learn. We warmly welcome beginner skiers and our aim is to help you on your way to loving the sport as much as we do. 

Lessons are not just for beginners though, if you are looking to improve your technique or build up confidence, booking lessons on your ski holiday will be the best way. 

Book the special Learn to Ski package when you stay at Chalet hotel Christina and you'll soon graduate to the multitude of blue runs, giving new skiers the chance to spread their wings and discover the thrill of high mileage skiing.

Hire your skis or snowboard before your holiday in La Plagne.
