Malaga City

Costa del Sol, Spain

The city of Malaga has managed to shake off its reputation as being merely a gateway to the Costa Del Sol. It has been revamped, revitalised, reborn! There's a lot to do and see and it'll take you several busy days to experience it all.

Of course, it's not all new (thankfully). There's the cobblestone streets of the old quarter, The Roman Amphitheatre and the twin high citadels of Alcazaba and Gilbarfaro. Away from the history, there's the cultural highlights of the Pompidou Centre and the Museu de Picasso as well as many other smaller galleries and museums scattered about this charming city. While you're on your culture buzz be sure to spend an hour or three around Malaga's vibey Soho district, a very laid back area where art, cuisine and shopping combine wonderfully. Speaking of cuisine there is of course no problem with finding amazing food in Malaga. It seems as if every street and rooftop boasts an award-winning chef.

And if the wonders of the city weren't enough to tempt you, remember that the golden sandy beach is only a leisurely 30-minute walk. The best of both worlds!

Transfer time from Malaga Airport approx. 15 mins.
