Villa Belvedere

Villa Belvedere

Built at the end of the 19th century and open to guests in 1902, Villa Belvedere is one of the first hotels in Taormina and has always belonged to the Bambara
● Pècaut family. Over the years the hotel, after numerous renovations, has kept intact its elegant charm of a period house while adapting to all modern comforts. The villa, with its ochre yellow facades, is located in the most peaceful and green area of Taormina. The lively historic centre and the ruins of the famous Greek-Roman theatre can be reached in a few minutes on foot through the wonderful botanical garden. The beaches of Isola Bella and Mazzarò can be reached in twenty minutes walking along a panoramic staircase. You can also use the cable car with a breath-taking view that will take you directly to Mazzarò. Alternatively you can take a bus or a taxi. The panoramic swimming pool is set on a sun terrace with sun beds and parasols. The 'Belvedere Bar', with its panoramic terrace and its lounges, are perfect places to savour delicious Sicilian cocktails prepared especially for you. Next to the swimming pool, the restaurant / bar, open from April to October, offers a rich 'à la carte' menu, with a wide choice of typical Sicilian recipes. For the evening, guests can choose from the numerous restaurants in the historic centre within walking distance of the hotel.
