While the government travel advice remains as avoid non-essential travel and constantly evolving quarantine restrictions, we are working with all our customers to help them rebook their holidays where possible.

The safety and wellbeing of our customers is our top priority.


I am due to travel from July onwards

A lot of flights are operating albeit on a reduced frequency for July and beyond. If you are due to travel in July we will contact you and discuss all options with you. We will be contacting people in order of travel date, so bear with us we will get to you.

We are prioritising all rebooking’s based on travel date.

I am due to pay the balance of my holiday, but I’m concerned
We will do our very best to work with you in this regard. On some selected destinations we may be able to delay the balance due date. Please contact our sales team regarding your booking.

I want to change my holiday, what do I do?
Depending on when and where you are travelling to, we will assist you where we can but please bear in mind our focus is on July holidays at the moment.

You are welcome to contact our office during our normal office hours of 9.00am – 5.00pm Mon-Fri. You may also email info@sunway.ie and one of our team will get back to you.

I’m still worried, can I cancel my booking?
If your flight is still operating and you choose to cancel your holiday, then this would be subject to our cancellation policy as per our booking conditions.

I want to book a new holiday but I am concerned I will lose my money?

  • You can book your holiday in complete confidence with Sunway

  • Sunway Travel is licensed and bonded with the commission for aviation (TA 0731 and TO 101) Do not take chances with unlicensed travel companies

These are really tough times for Sunway and the Travel Industry of Ireland, but we look forward to planes flying soon so we can take you on holidays.

Kusadasi

Kusadasi is one of the largest and best known of the Aegean Sea holiday resorts in Turkey and has been the most popular resort for Irish tourists for many years. It is a port city built along the shores of a bay. Cruise ships from all the around the world often dock in Kusadasi.

The resort offers an abundance of activities including historical and religious excursions, shopping, water sports, excellent restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

There are a number of very good beaches in Kusadasi, the two most popular being Ladies Beach and Long Beach. Many of Sunway's featured properties are within walking distance of Ladies Beach. A gently shelving sandy beach with water sports, several cafes, restaurants and shops across the road from the beach. Long Beach is easily accessible by Dolmus (frequent local minibus service) from the resort centre. Long Beach is also home to to Aqua Center, one of Kusadasi’s water parks.

There is a wide selection of restaurants, cafes and bistros around the resort and the fresh fish restaurants in the marina area come highly recommended. There is also an abundance of nightlife ranging from upmarket beach clubs to pulsating disco bars which line the famous Bar street. Kusadasi is a shoppers paradise and best buys include branded fashion wear, leather goods, gold, jewellery, rugs and spices; be prepared for to haggle for the best price!

Many of the best known attractions in Turkey are located close to Kusadasi including the ancient city of Ephesus, the Temple of Artemis, the House of the Virgin Mary and St. John's Basilica. The famous cotton castles of Pamukkale and the Greek island of Samos are other popular day trips and there are many other daily boat trips to choose from. There are two very large water parks also, one of which claims to be the biggest in Europe!

Kusadasi Transfer

Transfer time by coach from Izmir airport to Kusadasi is about 1hr 15 minutes.
