Of course if food is your thing then Rhodes will not disappoint. Greeks are very serious about cooking AND eating. There are a myriad of restaurants and cuisines to choose, from Greek traditional to International. Even fast food on Rhodes is healthy and satisfying

If you wish to steep yourself in history you have to visit Rhodes Old Town. This UNESCO World Heritage site is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe. Here you can visit the Venetian Castle, the Palace of the Grand Master and the Street of the Knights. Beyond the old town, there is the stunning Acropolis of Lindos and monastery of Filerimos. And then there are the villages. set in the picturesque landscape. They have a charm all of their own, away from the crowds, maintaining a traditional way of life that is a perfect antidote to our modern, hectic lives.

Rhodes has everything the weary traveller or the thrill seeker needs. It makes room for the family or the romantic couple and never fails to bring visitors back again and again.
