speaking driver only, for included tours, you will be accompanied by an English speaking local guide.

Please also make sure you have access to at least an additional USD $200 (or equivalent) as an 'emergency' fund, to be used when circumstances outside our control (ex. a natural disaster) require a change to our planned route. This is a rare occurrence!
Every traveller is different and therefore spending money requirements will vary. Some travellers may drink more than others while other travellers like to purchase more souvenirs than most. Please consider your own spending habits when it comes to allowing for drinks, shopping and tipping. Please also remember the following specific recommendations when planning your trip.
Most people automatically assume that the weather is hot in South America which is almost always true in Iguazu, especially given the humidity of the region. There are however rare cold spells in July and August where the temperature drops down to 15 degrees Celsius. We recommend the use of a duffel bag or backpack, whichever you find easiest to carry. A good size daypack is also essential. We also recommend light clothes.
Arrive at either the Brazilian or Argentine airport where you will be met and transferred to the hotel.
Spend the next 3 nights in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, exploring this tri-border region where Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay meet at the junction of the Parana and Igussu rivers. The focus, however, will be the magnificent Cataratas do Iguaçu, or Iguassu Falls.
Note: If preferred, accommodation can be booked in Puerto Iguazu, Argentina, instead. Please request at the time of booking. If you choose to stay on the Argentinian side there will be an additional fee at the time of booking. The G Adventures local representative will contact you at the hotel to reconfirm the pick up times for your activities and answer any questions you may have.
